It was the Ten Years Abreast festival and... It Was Pink!

Abreast In A Boat Hosts International Breast Cancer Survivor Dragonboat Festival
Our 10th Anniversary Celebration !!!

Over the weekend of June 24 through June 26, 2005 1,500 breast cancer survivors
as well as supporters joined Abreast In A Boat on the waters of False Creek in Vancouver, Canada
to race dragon boats and celebrate the birth of what is now a worldwide movement... breast cancer survivor dragon boat racing.
Ten Years Abreast drew teams from across Canada and the United States, Australia, NewZealand, Poland, Singapore and Italy. They came to race, to honour our founder Dr. Don MacKenzie and to party !
