The 2008 Season’s
Opener took place at van Dusen Gardens
on March 27th 2008. In spite of an intense hailstorm
as most of us were traveling to the Pink Casino Royale
a good number of members including many of our novices
came prepared to party! It was great to see all the
fancy decorations with four casino games arranged around
the room.

party organizer extraordinaire) and her right hand helper,
Evelyn Smoliak. As well thank you to
the many volunteers who helped them make this a very
special evening.
Primus representatives
Jeff O’Neill and Jeanna Kang
joined us as well and I have the photos to prove they
had a good time!
Did you get
a look at those food tables? As usual we out did ourselves
providing delectable munchies for everyone.
The whole evening
proved to be so much fun and it was great to see and
visit with old and new friends. A great start to the
coming season. Happy paddling, everyone!
