Abreast In Richmond would like to thank all those who came out to walk with us in the parade in Steveston today. Proudly we walked with Jeannie Lea, our dragon, and were very well received by the crowd.

Our great thanks go to Dave Moffatt who allowed us to tart up his nice red Camaro without complaint and drove it along the parade route (accompanied nicely by their grandchildren, Alex and Emily).

The crowd was very appreciative of the chant that Gill wrote for us in the wee hours of the morning...

We are cheering on the street
We know cancer can be beat !
Yea Richmond !

We were all amazed at the incredible number of people that were there... talk about raising awareness!!!
