On Monday August 27th eight members gathered at Carol Short's home in South Surrey to create banners to be carried in the parade through the streets of Caloundra at the breast cancer regatta in Australia. Under Carol's expert tutelage, they snipped, clipped, glued, and chatted their way through the day managing to create six banners with barely a hiccup --- well, apart from the backward "Bs" and the excess of "Ts"! But it wasn't all work, a relaxing al fresco lunch on the sunny patio was a welcome break in the day.
